Workforce & integrations
Get your people into Oho from wherever they already live, control who can see what, and wire Oho into your own systems.
Who it's for: Admins setting Oho up, IT teams, and developers building an integration
Availability: Available
What you get
- One worker record per person, kept in step with your HR or payroll system rather than maintained twice
- A spreadsheet route for getting started, and a connector route for keeping it current
- Roles that decide what each person can see and do, narrowed to the part of the business they look after
- A REST API and webhooks, so screening state can drive your own systems
Turn it on
→ Add a data source — the shared five-step setup, plus every source Oho supports with its current status and step-by-step guide.
Capabilities
HRIS and payroll integrations
Connect a system you already use and Oho imports — and keeps importing — workers, applicants, and the credentials they hold, on the schedule you choose.
Availability: Available — per-connector status (including Beta and assisted setup) is listed on the hub
- Full details → HRIS & payroll integrations
Spreadsheet and file import
The fastest way to get started: fill in Oho's template, connect it once, and Oho creates your workers and starts verifying the credentials you've listed. Works as a one-off load or a recurring sync.
Availability: Available — Excel, Google Sheets, and SFTP
- Turn it on → Import from Excel or Google Sheets
- Learn the concept → Excel · Google Sheets · SFTP
Roles and access
Not everyone who logs in should be able to do everything. A role decides what a person can see and do, and you can narrow their view to the organisations they're responsible for.

Single sign-on (SSO)
Let your team sign in with the accounts your organisation already manages, with no separate Oho password to create, remember, or reset.
Availability: Available — Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and other providers
- Turn it on → Set up single sign-on (SSO)
- Provider guides → Okta · Entra ID · Google · Other providers
REST API and webhooks
Do anything the app does from your own code, and get a push the moment a result changes so your systems stay in sync without polling.
Availability: Available
- Full details → REST API & webhooks
How it works
However your people arrive — typed in, imported from a file, synced from an integration, or created over the API — they become the same worker record, and Oho verifies and monitors their credentials the same way. Integrations run on a schedule, so a change in your source system flows through without anyone re-importing by hand.
→ Ingest your data — every route in → Keeping data in sync — what happens on each subsequent run → Integrations — what each connector brings in
For developers
Authenticate, create workers and credentials, page through large result sets, and subscribe to events. Bulk import is available for large one-off loads.

Good to know
- How Oho recognises a returning worker rather than creating a duplicate depends on the source — see Map your fields for match keys and re-sync behaviour.
- Syncing a worker in doesn't start the ongoing re-check loop on its own; add a verification source for the credential types you hold.
- Don't see the connector you need? Request a connector, or use the spreadsheet or API route in the meantime.
- Integrations is an admin area — if it isn't in your menu, ask an admin in your organisation.
