NCC — National Police Check
NCC (National Crime Check) is an accredited provider that returns a nationally coordinated police check result. Unlike a register lookup, this source lodges and obtains a check rather than looking up an existing card.
What Oho needs
Oho lodges the police check application with NCC and then retrieves the result on your behalf, so there is no existing card number to enter.
Setup and credentials
You connect once with a secure "Connect to NCC" sign-in. No username or password is stored. You also set an industry or purpose and an invoice site ID for billing, and you choose decision rules — whether a clear result is automatically marked suitable, a default validity period (around three years), and a window that suppresses duplicate checks.
Linking
Not applicable. There is no employer linkage recorded against the check.
Good to know
Oho checks NCC for the application's progress on the schedule you set, so results arrive as they become available rather than instantly.
