Find Anything with Search & Browse

Search & Browse finds workers, applicants, credentials and organisations. Type a name, a licence or card number, or another detail, or leave the search empty to browse everything. Then narrow the list with filters, save it as a view, or download it.

What you'll end up with

The exact list of people or records you're after, ready to open, share or export.

Step 1: Search or browse

  1. In the left menu, click Search & Browse. It opens on everything you can see.
  2. Type in the search box to find records by name, number or another detail. Leave it empty to browse.

You only see records in the organisations your role gives you access to, and the types of record your access covers. Roles & access explains how that's set.

Step 2: Narrow it with filters

The filter bar under the heading lists the filters that fit your results, with a count against each value. The ones used most come first:

  • Organisation: the organisation a record belongs to.
  • Worker Type: the kind of worker, as your HR system records it.
  • Status: what it means depends on the record. For a worker it's their employment status, for an applicant their screening progress, and for a credential where it is in its life.
  • Active for Scanning: whether Oho keeps checking the worker or credential. It's separate from Status, which comes from your HR system.
  • Credential Type, Category and Jurisdiction: what a credential is and where it was issued.
  • Compliance: a worker's compliance verdict: Compliant, At Risk, Non-Compliant, or no compliance records on file. It's the same rule the Compliance Overview uses.
  • Expiry Date: pick a window, such as expiring within 30 days.
  • Department and Tags.

Filters used less often, such as Source System and Match Confidence, sit under More. When you pick more than one filter you can choose whether a result has to match all of them or any of them. Clear all removes every filter.

Coming from the Compliance Overview

The tiles and counts on the Compliance Overview open Search & Browse already filtered to the workers they count, so the list matches the number you clicked.

Step 3: Read and sort the results

  • Each result shows what kind of record it is and its key details. Click it to open the full record.
  • Sort by changes the order. Switch between Full Card View and Compact Card View to see more or fewer details per result.
  • When nothing matches, Oho suggests clearing your filters or the selected view.

Step 4: Save or download the list

  • Save these filters as a new View to come back to the same list later. Views let you save or share search filters.
  • Download results exports the list as a CSV. It uses the same columns as the Compliance Overview export, plus a link back to each record.
