Connect LiveHire
Import your people and their job history from LiveHire, the talent acquisition and recruitment platform. Because LiveHire's setup depends on how your talent community and hiring workflows are configured, Oho sets this connector up with you rather than through the self-serve builder — so the connection fits your environment from day one.
Unlike most sources, you don't wire LiveHire up yourself. When you pick it on the Integrations page, Oho asks you to request a short setup consultation, and our team then configures the connection to match your environment. This guide covers what to prepare, how to request setup, and what to expect. There are no API keys or connection details for you to enter.
Your people from LiveHire in Oho — each a worker, with the credentials they hold added and checked — kept in step with LiveHire, without maintaining two lists.
Before you start
Gather these before you request setup, so the consultation moves quickly:
- The people and history you want in Oho — your candidates and their application or job history, already recorded in LiveHire.
- A contact who administers LiveHire — someone in your organisation who can grant access and answer questions about how your account is configured. This is a LiveHire-side task, so loop them in early if that isn't you.
- The credential types you plan to verify in Oho — so your LiveHire records can be mapped to them once the connection is live.
- Who will own the integration in Oho — the admin who'll manage it after go-live.
You don't need any API keys, tokens, or connection URLs. Oho's team handles the technical setup with your LiveHire administrator during the consultation.
Step 1: Request setup from the Integrations page
Admin access to Oho, so you can open the Integrations page. You don't need anything from LiveHire yet.
In the left menu under Admin, click Integrations, then start a new integration and pick LiveHire from the list of sources. LiveHire is marked Requires a setup consultation, so instead of a connection form you'll see a short Setup consultation required message.

From that message, click Contact Support, or email support@weareoho.com directly, to request setup. Tell us your organisation and that you'd like to connect LiveHire; if you already know your LiveHire administrator and the people you want to import, mention them so we can prepare.
Expected outcome: your setup request is with Oho's team, and you have — or know who has — LiveHire administrator access ready for the consultation.
Step 2: What Oho sets up with you
Because LiveHire is configured to fit your environment, Oho does the technical setup with you rather than leaving it to a self-serve form. Here's who does what:
- You and your LiveHire administrator — confirm which people and history you want imported, and grant Oho's team the access they need in LiveHire.
- Oho's implementations team — configures and tests the connection, maps your LiveHire records to Oho's workers and credentials, and agrees the sync schedule with you.
- Together — you review the first import and sign off before the connection goes live.
What to expect. After you request setup, Oho's team gets in touch to arrange the consultation and talk through your LiveHire configuration. Timelines depend on your environment and how quickly access can be granted; the team gives you a clear estimate once they understand your setup. You don't configure anything yourself in the meantime — there's nothing to enter in Oho.
Expected outcome: the connection is configured, tested, and scheduled by Oho's team, and you've reviewed the first import.
Step 3: Map your fields
You don't map fields by hand for LiveHire — Oho's team sets the mapping up with you during setup, lining your LiveHire records up with Oho's workers and credentials. It's worth understanding how that mapping works, so you can confirm it during the consultation and know what to expect on later syncs.
For what each field expects, which are required, how credentials tie to a worker, and how re-syncs avoid duplicates, see the shared Map your fields reference.
Expected outcome: your LiveHire records map to Oho workers and credentials, confirmed with you during setup.
What happens next
- Once live, your people appear under All Workers, ready for checks — running and confirming a sync then works the same as any source (see Run & verify your first sync).
- To keep those checks current, add a verification source for the credential types you hold — synced credentials then verify at the register automatically.
- You don't re-import by hand — Oho keeps the connection in step with LiveHire on the schedule agreed during setup.
Common questions
How do I connect LiveHire myself? You don't. LiveHire needs configuration specific to your environment, so Oho sets it up with you. Request setup from the Integrations page as in Step 1.
How long does setup take? It depends on your LiveHire configuration and how quickly access can be granted. Oho's team gives you an estimate once they understand your environment.
Do I need API keys or connection details? No. Oho's team handles the technical setup with your LiveHire administrator, so there's nothing for you to enter in Oho.
Some people didn't come across after go-live. This usually comes down to field mapping or the access granted in LiveHire. Check the mapping agreed during setup against the shared Map your fields reference, and confirm the affected people fall within the access Oho was granted. If it still looks wrong, contact support@weareoho.com.
I don't see Integrations. This is an admin area — if it's not in your menu, ask an admin in your organisation, or contact support@weareoho.com.
