Deputy

Beta

The Deputy connector is in Beta. It's ready to use, and we're continuing to refine it as more customers connect their accounts.

Import your workers and their job history from Deputy, the workforce management and scheduling platform. Connecting Deputy keeps your Oho worker list in step with your rostering system of record, so people don't have to be added in two places.

What it imports

Workers and their job history from Deputy, along with worker status (active or inactive) and the organisation details Deputy holds, such as location and role. Where Deputy records qualifications, they map to Oho credential types so they can be checked against the register.

What you'll need

An API application registered in Deputy by an administrator, which Oho connects to over OAuth. Oho connects with:

  • Your Deputy install URL (the base address of your Deputy account).
  • The application's Client ID and Client Secret.
  • A Refresh token and redirect URI, generated when you authorise the connection.

Because this is an OAuth connection, part of setup happens in Deputy: you register Oho's callback URL against the application before authorising it. There's no file to manage — Oho connects directly to the Deputy API. See Get your auth details.

How it runs

Oho syncs from Deputy on the schedule you set, so new starters, role changes, and terminations in Deputy flow through to Oho on their own.
