Smart Recruiters

Screen your candidates from inside SmartRecruiters, the applicant tracking system. Unlike an HRIS or file connector, SmartRecruiters doesn't import a list of people on a schedule — it works the other way around: each screening a recruiter orders flows into Oho one candidate at a time as a Recruitment Check, and the result lands back in SmartRecruiters automatically.

What it imports​

Candidates one at a time, as Recruitment Checks, when a recruiter orders an Oho screening from inside SmartRecruiters. Oho collects the candidate's credentials, runs the checks, and reports the result back into SmartRecruiters — no one leaves the ATS or re-enters anyone.

The screenings recruiters can order come from your Oho screening packages: if you've configured a package catalogue for SmartRecruiters, recruiters see that; otherwise Oho offers your active screening packages.

What you'll need​

  • Your screening packages set up in Oho, so recruiters have something to order.
  • Your SmartRecruiters company ID recorded on your Oho tenant settings — Oho checks it during connection and turns away requests from any other company.
  • A SmartRecruiters admin who can enable Oho from the SmartRecruiters marketplace, and an Oho admin to check the connection.

Because you enable Oho from inside your own SmartRecruiters account, there's nothing to copy or paste and no key to store — Oho and SmartRecruiters exchange the credentials they need between themselves and keep them encrypted. For the full step-by-step setup, see the Connect SmartRecruiters guide.

How it runs​

Once enabled, orders push through as they happen. A recruiter picks an Oho screening while working a candidate in SmartRecruiters, the candidate arrives in Oho as a Recruitment Check, and the result returns to SmartRecruiters once the checks are done. There's no schedule to set.
