Workday
Import your workers and their job history from Workday, the HR platform. Connecting Workday keeps your Oho worker list in step with your HR system of record, so people don't have to be added in two places.
What it imports
Workers and their job history from Workday, along with worker status (active, inactive, on leave, or terminated) and organisation details. Qualifications and certifications recorded in Workday map to Oho credential types, so they can be checked against the register.
What you'll need
An Integration System User (ISU) created in Workday by your administrator — a dedicated, non-human account for the connection — placed in a security group scoped to read only the workers and fields Oho imports. Oho connects with:
- The ISU credentials for that account.
- Your tenant — the identifier for your Workday account.
- Your web-services endpoint — the service address Oho connects to.
There's no file to manage — Oho connects directly to the Workday web services. For the full step-by-step setup, see the Connect Workday guide.
How it runs
Oho syncs from Workday on the schedule you set, so new starters, role changes, and terminations in Workday flow through to Oho on their own.
Oho matches returning workers on their Workday Worker ID, carried on source.externalId, so re-syncs update people in place rather than creating duplicates. By default both active and terminated workers are imported, so people who leave are marked inactive rather than disappearing.
